The top-secret corridors of the underground nerve centre where Winston Churchill made key decisions on world WW2 is a complex and important place. Mash-design was approached to create a new navigation method. This involved bringing together a clear and easy to understand solution, whilst retaining respect for the building.
Solving design challenges
Previous wayfinding was complex for visitors to translate. Our solution was to provide a clear design strategy helping visitors navigate and identify the different levels easily.
Applying shape, colour and scale were all contributors to maximise legibility.
