Cambridge University Press is an international publisher focused on the sector of education. Mash-design was asked to develop new book covers to bring a fresh approach to their established brand.
Challenging the boundaries
The main challenge with this project was that design guidelines were pre-set. Mash-design sought to think outside of the box whilst ensuring we respected the boundaries set by the client.
Influenced by authors
We decided to marry the book covers with the synopsis of the author's book.
Whilst important to stay within the parameters of the brand, our creative designs and layouts of the covers enabled authors to engage with our fresh approach.
